Good examples of Christian behavior in all circumstances of life.
Not often do you read exactly what the characters are thinking and their silent prayers. This should help readers learn how to react to painful events with prayer and how the right response can not only be calming but can lead the other person to begin thinking about Christ.

I loved reading each Book that shared how even in difficult and bad situations God was Faithful!!! Also the Scriptures were so Encouraging in each Book and gave Strength to the Characters in their darkest times. I would recommend this “Faithful Love Series” for everyone to Read.

I fully enjoyed the books, and the references to Gods word that so worked well with the situations. If I had any complaint it would be the abrupt endings. It seemed things were rough, but one paragraph later everything was fixed & happy. Guess I like a little more reality in closures.

prefer more interaction
The five tales in this box set all take place in the same small Oregon town, but there was little interaction between the characters from one book to the next. I would have preferred more interaction which would seemingly have been natural since Blake was a pastor in the local church.The first four stories were mostly sweet and predictable but the characters did make some really bad decisions at times which seemed out of character. None were as egregious as the issues in book 5, though. Honestly, I found Cody and Ashley to be quite unlikeable more times than I liked. I wish they had sought counsel from their church leaders, talked to some strong Christian friends (seemed like they didn’t have any), or acted more consistently. In the end, everything worked out, but the ending was not very satisfying as the changes were basically sudden with little or no explanation. This wasn’t the worst Christian series I’ve read, but it wasn’t the best either.

The older I get the more I realize what’s important in life. These books are sweet and very well written, especially when referencing God and Jesus. These books show real life people struggling with God’s word. They show that God knows what’s going to happen and what you need to do is to wait on him and trust him and walk with him.
