This second book of T. K. Chapin’s series hits home with many people. When good times hits most families, God gets put on the back burner. Then when problems begin you do not let Him back in. Bethany and Mark are experiencing this. Their marriage does not seem to be doing well and then they are hit with their oldest child has a failing liver. How do you handle all of this? Mark goes for counseling with his pastor and finds out it is time to put God back into his life. He begins reading the Bible and praying more. Will it work? Will God turn their difficulties into blessings? Only time will tell. This book was one that you wanted to keep reading to find out what happens. It is touches hearts of everyone.

Once again Mr. Chapin has created a wonderful book! The story is relevant to life in reality and gives Biblical solutions to life’s problems. The characters are ordinary people with some extraordinary issues, just like a lot of readers. As they muddle their way through life (just like you and me), they discover what a close walk with God can do to bring blessing from difficulties. This is Book 2 in his series Journey of Love and it is definitely best to read Book 1 first. The books are quite intertwined and will be enjoyed more when read together. Thanks for another great, “can’t lay it down” read, Mr. Chapin!

T.K. Chapin brings us the second in his series, “Journey of Love”. Again through this beautifully written Christian Fiction love story, he shows us how marvelous God’s immeasurable love is. How He takes every situation in our lives and uses them for good, if we are willing to trust Him to complete the bigger picture. In this book Bethany and Mark struggle to understand why God is putting them through this trial. Why is their faith not strong enough to sustain their daughter, Elly’s illness? Why did God let Elly’s liver fail? She is only sixteen and the possibility of her dying is devastating to any parent. How can they find common-ground and hope, love and trust again? As you turn the pages you will be captivated by their story and their journey to find the peace their family once enjoyed. Chapin weaves his magic through words to show us time and again God’s love and mercy in all of life’s events. He shows us that communicating with God through prayer and reading our Bible is paramount and communicating with each other is the basis of a good marriage. As you read this book, you will be captivated from the first page and please keep the tissues handy; if you are a parent…you are going to need them.As I read the final chapter of the book, I kept thinking…what an awesome God we serve. I was uplifted and renewed in my faith. Thank you again T.K. Chapin for another great book.Disclaimer: I received this ARC eBook from the author, T.K. Chapin for free to read and review. (I also did purchase my own copy). I was not required to give a favorable review only an honest review, nor was I compensated for my review. All thoughts and comments in this review are my own.
