What does the power of prayer look like in your life?

April Bybee has always been a praying wife and a loving mother. She and Justin had built a good life together and were raising three beautiful children. Problems in their home life only emerged five years ago when Justin was promoted to district manager. He started working longer hours and spent less time with the family. Now, with a new promotion on the horizon, April fears the problems she’s been praying over are only about to get worse.

How God will answer those prayers will not only catch April by surprise but will stretch her faith in ways she never thought possible.

What would you do if your prayers were answered in a way you didn’t understand? What would trusting God in the darkest part of the storm look like?

Living On A Prayer is an inspirational Christian romance about a struggling wife and a marriage on the rocks. Christian spouses who desire to have God at the center of their lives will not be disappointed by this inspiring tale of two people who love the Lord and one faithful praying wife.

April and Justin are your typical parents with dual careers, busy, distracted, focused on a million different things every day. What they haven’t been focused on together is God, or their marriage. Justin is focused on getting ahead in his career, April is concentrating on the family and the things that aren’t getting done because Justin is focused elsewhere. He’s missing church, he’s missing dinner with the family, he is not present in the kids every day lives. An accident and its aftermath present an opportunity for Justin and April to come together, or to pull apart. This book will keep you gripped in the storyline as T.K. presents situations we have all faced at one time or another. His character’s are full of depth, full of faults, full of recognizable traits that we all have. You become invested in their lives, just as you would someone in your own life. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. The opinions expressed are completely my own.

I liked this book. The characters were realistic as were their spiritual struggles. The answers from God were not always easy; giving in to God and being willing to follow His direction is hard sometimes and this book didn’t honey coat the process. It did however illustrate God’s healing when April and Justin, in the end, trusted God and His plan, even when it meant stepping out in faith.

T.K. Chapin’s book Living On A Prayer:T.K.Chapin is beyond amazing the way he wrote this book. April and Justin are struggling with everything in their lives. When Justin ends up in the hospital they don’t know what to do next. Watching the way the accident changes the family is truly inspirational. You will feel God working throughout this wonderful story. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could.

Sometimes the things we intend to do and the support we try to give our families is not the best for them or for us. God steps in and changes the direction of this husband and wife in order to supply them with the things they need, but don’t necessarily know they need. Sometimes God changes our plans and we’re disappointed but much better off in the long run. Mr. Chapin creates realistic people in realistic situations and shows how God can improve those situations beyond what we ever dreamed of.

Have you ever felt like things were just falling out of control and you couldn’t get a handle on your life? When marriages hit rocky spots it’s often easier to just give up trying. But that’s not what is truly best and fulfilling. In this newest book by TK Chapin, he tackles these issues and more.April thinks all that needs to change to make her life and marriage good again, is for her husband to change. Justin thinks that all they need is for him to get a better position at his work so he can earn more money. What ends up happening, was something neither one could have imagined. In this story, there is deep despair, drama, tender moments, hope, healing, forgiveness and love. It truly is packed full of issues we all can relate to in some way or another.Whenever I pick up a TK Chapin book, I know it will touch me deeply. This book did just that. It was full of life lessons and bunches of hope. I always love it when a book has many wonderful quotes to tuck inside of our hearts. This book has many and I have to say it’s one of the only books, in my vast collection of books, where I have highlighted so many quotes. I felt God speaking to me in a very real way.The lessons I learned I want to apply to my life and marriage and I know it will stay with me for a while.I was given this book by the author which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own. I highly recommend you pick it up to read!

Oh my goodness, what a close look at a marriage in crises. As the story moves along, we learn how God is in control no matter what…we just need to let Him do His thing. Extremely well written. Highly recommend!!!!!

It’s easy to believe in God but not have a personal connection with our Creator. With this in mind , the author describes a difficult situation that dramatically changed once a connection with God was made after which lives were profoundly changed.
