In my minds eye I can see God whispering in T.K. Chapin’s ear. “Take up your pin and I will tell you what to write” as the words travel across the page LOVE’S PROMISE appear. Can book 2 of this series possibly be as interesting as Book 1? You bet cha! As I read this story I felt as if I were standing on the sidelines of each page. This is a story of faith, hope, challenges, forgiveness, and restoration. A strong marriage stung by the heartache of tragedy is put to the test. Grab a tissue and be prepared to have God touch your own heart thru some of the trials this couple face. Reading the works of this Christian writer makes your heart do a happy dance. What a blessing and a pleasure to sit down and enjoy. Grab a coffee and cut off the phone. Once you begin LOVE’S PROMISE you will not want to stop until the last page! Bravo T.K. Another story well done!

T K Chaplin has done a marvelous writing n this Christian Contemporary story. This book is so true to the Christian life. As Christians we are surely not promised a perfect life. Only a life with Jesus helping us get through it.

No matter how long you have been married, it takes both partners working together to make it work and sometimes it takes one event in life to change the whole dynamic of a good marriage.“Love’s Promise”, the second in the Protected by Love series, is about Marie and Winston. In “Love’s Return, the first book, Winston’s accident at Diamond Lake confines him to a wheel chair and the doctors say he will probably never walk again.Even though Winston is a Christian, his faith has been rocked! He suddenly blames God for everything and wants nothing to do with Him or even church. He feels no one understands what he is going through and lashes out at everyone who gets in his path, especially Marie. He wants his life back as the CEO of his body guard company, WIN, but without legs he feels he is worthless.Marie has been married to him for twenty-three years and finds herself, for the first time, not knowing how to help her husband find his way back to God, because she has never been a believer. She can’t understand why he can no longer talk to her or why he has become such a bitter, angry man. They used to share everything. She wants nothing more than for them to be the way they used to be—Happy. After many tears and with a Church At The Lake flyer in hand, (this church just happens to be the church Winston was guarding the night he was shot), after forty years of not attending Marie decides to give church a try. She had no idea what to expect but knew she somehow had to try to help Winston and just maybe God was the right place to start. As Marie and Winston struggle with their issues, Chapin shows time and again, how God works in the background of our lives to bring us closer to Him. He shows how in tragedy, good can triumph. Will Winston be able to return to God’s love? Will Marie find the peace in her heart she is seeking? Will their marriage succeed? You will find the answers to those questions as read “Loves Promise”.In this book, you will find love, healing, forgiveness and redemption. Parts of this book touched my heart to the point of tears…please keep the tissues near-by. This is an absolute must-read!Disclaimer: I received this pre-release eBook from the author, T.K. Chapin for free to read and review. (I also did purchase my own copy). I was not required to give a favorable review only an honest review, nor was I compensated for my review. All thoughts and comments in this review are my own.

Winston and Marie have been married over 20 years. He’s a strong Christian but she has never joined him in his walk of faith. Now, he’s been wounded on the job of his security company and he is paralyzed from the waist down. He’s angry with God and with pretty much everyone and everything in his life but Marie had prayed for his life and since God answered her prayer she feels drawn to God. I think this author has done a wonderful job telling this story that is both captivating and encouraging. His characters are real and well developed and the interactions of believers and unbelievers is eye opening.

T.K takes real life issues and writes about it in his fiction story is a way that it is an inspiration. From the struggles of a person who has newly committed their life to God and a person who has turned his/her back on God.I always feel inspired and have alot to think about when I’ve finished one of T.K’s books. This is book 2 but can be read a standalone.

Love’s Promise, written by T.K. Chapin, is book 2 in the Protected by Love series.I love a book where there’s romance in a middle-aged married couple. Chapin does a great job at taking life and entwining it with believable inspirational fiction. My favorite character in the book is Winston. He’s struggling because he was shot and now he’s paralyzed. His whole life has changed. He does what some people do when going through a “Lot” kind of tragedy…he turns from God…his only true comfort.I think this book is a great one for those who are struggling through the happenings of life and need encouragement…and through it all He’s waiting for us to return to him. Inspirational Romance of a mature married couple must-read!

An inspiring story of a marriage led by God. Marie and Winston find themselves in a valley after he’s been shot. Only they’re enduring love and spiritual guidance can get them back on track. This story is a solid reminder that faith will get you through all things.

It is the miracles that God works from the inside that matter most. Read this book and be encouraged to walk by faith rather than fear.
