Benjamin Chapin’s book The Faith We Have:This book is filled with God working throughout the characters life’s. You will learn about the struggles that a police officer and his family go through on a daily basis. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give it a higher rating than a five star review if I could. This book is truly a inspirational story.

I love TK Chapin’s novels. He deals with situations that can and do occur in normal human lives. In this book, he deals with a marriage that has gone past wrong to nearly ruined. He shows how God can step in and save the marriage if people are willing to slow down and remember whats important. He presents the gospel in all of his books that I have read in a thorough and non-preachy way.

T.K. has a wonderful ability to create realistic characters that you can relate to, empathize with, and root for, and Lauren and Michael are no different. Lauren and Michael find themselves in the middle of marital struggles. Their struggles are the same as many face, not enough time, not enough money, not enough faith. When the unthinkable happens, they will either be brought together or torn apart. Can their faith bring them through to the other side and create in them a strong family, marriage and bond? You will be pulled into the story from the beginning and will be engaged through to the end.

I enjoyed thus book as it gave insight into the choices that face the life of a policeman. I have a great deal of respect for police and feel they are undervalued, especially in the climate of today’s politics. This story reminds us all of the choices and priorities they need to set. The value of God and church in the life of a policeman and their families. The wonderful way God can restore relationships.

This is a *Must Read* book! It is well written and once you start reading it you can’t put it down. This is his best book yet in my humble opinion. If you are looking for a book that deals with real life problems, grab this book. It will touch your heart and shows how with God’s help you can overcome your problems.

This book is awesome! Every time I read one of T.K.’s books, I feel like it is the best one. His books are so good, I don’t see how they can get any better but they do! T.K. writes with his heart. I love how he tackles real life problems in each book. With the Lord’s help, they can overcome their situations.

What a journey as Michael and Lauren through trials that test their faith in God. Lauren has to be brought to the place where she only has one place to turn and that is to God. They are in financial trouble, about to lose their home, working 3 jobs isn’t cutting it anymore, their family is falling apart, and Michael cannot see the need to make changes. Will their family survive? Will Michael lay aside his pride and learn what is really important in his life? The journey is emotional, but inspirational.

Police have stresses unlike few other professions and in “The Faith We Have” Michael’s injuries further complicated the pressures of his life. With the ultimatum from his wife, Lauren, and the wisdom of police Chaplain Adam Jones, will Michael finally be able to put God first and begin to get his house in order?’I received a free copy of this book for my voluntary review. The honesty of this story is beautiful and I highly recommend this book.
