I would recommend this book to everyone because you will see how faithful our Lord is. Even though fiction, the words of faith, forgiveness and redemption are there to help us see God.

This is a beautiful story of redemption and restoration. It is beautifully told by this author. I couldn’t put it down. When Cory gets out of prison he wants to reunite with his family and start over. He’s now a Christian and knows he’s been forgiven by God but what about his family? When he finds out his ex wife is now engaged he has to regroup and decides if he can’t have everything he’ll do what he can to salvage his relationship with his children.

Mr. Chapin always leaves me wanting his next book! This was such a stirring story. No fantasy or fairy tale stuff, but real life and all it’s struggles. The characters, through some life-changing events, turn to Christ, grow in Him, and in the process learn what love and forgiveness really mean in a practical sense.

I am happy with how the story ends for Corey and Holly but not for Nathaniel. Hush disappointment is painful.

Under growing pressure to pay bills for his family, Corey does something that causes him to end up in prison. While there, he becomes a follower of Christ, and then begins to grow as a Christian, and hopes he can get back with his family. It’s not an easy thing to do, but he has help from a friend and his dad. His wife, Holly, isn’t so sure that can happen. This is a very believable book, showing their struggles, and it’s hard to set it down. The outcome may or may not be what you think it will be; but it is a really good book, and I highly recommend it!

If you have ever found yourself in a situation, where nothing you tired worked and you ended up making the wrong decision? That is exactly what happened to Corey and Holly! With no money to pay the bills, Corey embezzled from his employer and ended up in prison for three years. While in Prison Corey accepted Jesus into his heart and even though he was happy about it, he knew it would not make things right with his family. After his release he is hoping he can reunite with his family, however Hannah is now a young woman rather than the little girl he called Wildflower and Michael is just on the brink of becoming a teenager. Will they accept him for the changed person he is? Is there hope for a future together? You will find the answer to those questions as you read “Gracefully Broken”.Once again Chapin weaves another wonderful story of healing broken lives through God’s love. As Corey and Holly’s story unfolds you will find yourself caught up in their everyday struggle to find peace for past mistakes and courage to step out on faith for the future. This is another must-read! It is book nine in the Potter’s House series.Disclaimer: I received this ARC eBook from the author, T.K. Chapin for free to read and review.
