    T. K. Chapin has given us a front row seat to young love that also strives to put God first in A Chance at Love. It is the only way in this world filled with hurt and betrayal for love to be lasting. He had me cheering Kyle and Emily on in their personal relationship and their walk with God. As I have found it to be true in other books by this author, the story line is honest and does not gloss over the realities of life. I especially appreciate how Mr. Chapin tackles the problems within the church; self-righteousness and judgmental attitudes in this case. I especially liked seeing how the older generation is still able to have an impact on the up and coming one, as Kyle’s grandmother had on him. Also it reminds us that life is not simply a series of random chance meetings or events. Still the is a hopeful, romantic look at a couple who fall in love, so making you reminisce about that time in your own life, as well as reflecting on your relationship with the God who first loved us.The author provided a copy for an honest review.

Wow! What an excellent story. I really enjoyed reading A Chance at Love and as I have said before it is stories like these that are silent missiles that deliver the gospel beautifully. I loved the conversations that Kyle had with his grandmother, his parents, his sister and Emily. it was through these conversations that we got to see the beautiful message of the gospel. The Men’s meeting with Mike was awesome and I’m glad the author showcased this in this story. I’m one to believe that men need groups like theses. But one of the best thing about this story was Kyle’s willingness to go all out for God and not turn back. This conversation( “Yes it is. How do you believe in that but keep hidden the fact that you and Mom went to church and believe in God? If you believe in God and the Bible was inspired by Him, why would you neglect to follow it? If you believe that the Word is a lamp for your feet that leads your way in this life, why wouldn’t you share that kind of thing with your children? Aren’t you the biggest hypocrite of us all by not going?”)he had with his dad should make us all stand to attention. I believe that a Christian story should edify, encourage and draw you into a deeper relationship with the Lord. It should also make the unbeliever want to know Christ. Well this story does all of that, it’s silent but deadly. It will pin prick the unbeliever’s heart to want a romance with Christ and it will cause the believer to go hard and strong in the relationship with Christ.

A Chance at Love, written by T.K. Chapin, is the perfect Christian Romance of young love especially at Valentine’s Day! I enjoy this author’s unique writing ability of storytelling throughout this book. As with many of Chapin’s books, this is written in the first person and from the male character point of view, Kyle.Kyle is a deep thinking 19 year old and trying to find his way as a young adult; he encounters his godly grandma who encourages him along the way. I found that relationship especially endearing. The verse from Proverbs 16:3 “Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established,” has been used as Kyle finds his way to the Cross for salvation and guidance as he tries to grow his relationship with the Lord. In the midst of finding Christ, he begins building a relationship with Emily. Young love is so sweet, but Kyle shows such a mature outlook throughout their growing relationship in his behavior and responses to struggles along the way. A true inspirational love story that has a foundation on Christ. Great love story for all ages.

Nineteen-years old Kyle Reynolds wondered if he was destined to deliver pizzas for the rest of his life, but until he found his purpose in life…it put money in his pocket. When Kyle delivered pizza to a church, little did he realize his life was about to change in a big way.His grandmother was ill and needed help, so Kyle was volunteered to help her for a week. However; his grandmother was the one who helped him by giving his life to the Lord. When delivering pizza to a church Kyle saw beautiful Emily Hayden. He felt she was an angel and his heart was stolen…but how was he going to get to know Emily especially since her parents were so protective and she had a secret she wouldn’t tell him because she was afraid if Kyle found out, he would have nothing to do with her. This is one of the most beautiful love-stories I have read in a long time. Not only is it about a young couple and their love for each other, but also about the most everlasting love that God has for each of us.This book goes beyond the surface of love and shows the real basis for a lasting love. Mr. Chapin takes the age old question of why does God let bad things happen to good people and answers the question in a way that is easy to understand. Simply God doesn’t let bad things happen….He gave us free-will and our choices sometimes cause things to happen that shouldn’t. Once again Mr. Chapin has written a book that has deeply touched my heart and dug down deep into my soul. It has made me once again want to have a closer relationship with Jesus. This book is sure to speak to your romantic side while it strengthens you faith. The twists and turns in this beautifully written novel will keep you turning the pages and at the end leave you wanting the story to continue.Thank you Mr. Chapin for another inspirational novel!Disclosure: I was given a copy of this eBook by the author, T.K. Chapin, for an honest review. I was not required to write a favorable review nor was I compensated for my review. The opinions in this review are my own.

T.K. Chapin’s A Chance at Love is a wonderful story about a nine-teen year-old-boy, Kyle, that has some struggles in life he is dealing with. Feeling stuck in life with his job, not sure what to study in college, and no girlfriend. But when Kyle meets Emily, everything changes. With some influence from his grandmother and the example of Emily, Kyle converts to Christianity. He also falls in love with Emily. When her parent’s do not approve, Kyle continues to be persistent, as well as tries to prove himself. This story shows that life can be hard and it doesn’t always turn out the way we want it too, but if we pray and have faith in God, things will work out. Well-written and with characters that will touch your heart, T.K. Chapin has written a story that will influence and inspire its readers for the better. With a strong Christian story and focus, I would recommend this novel to readers that enjoy Christian novels, or are trying to find or regain their faith.Genre: Christian, young adultPublisher: Branch PublishingPublication date: February 9, 2016Number of pages: 324Category: High School +Content Rating: PGBook Rating: 5 starsA review copy of this novel was provided by T.K. An interesting story about a young man who has graduated high school and has been granted a year by his parents to remain at home while he decides what he wants to do with his life. Does he want to go to college or does he want to go to work? He has a pizza delivery job that provides spending money. But six months or so after graduation, he is no closer to reaching a decision. It is unfortunate that he grew up in a home where his parents did not take him and his sister to church to learn about God. Is there any hope of him learning the truth about God? If so, will he accept or reject that truth? What is he going to do with his life? He already knows he doesn’t want to spend it delivering pizza and barely getting by. By the way, he really enjoys gaming but what good is that when the refrigerator is empty and the car needs gas? Oh, yeah, the title suggests this may be a love story. You will want to read this book to see how things work out for this young man and how his decisions affect those around him. I recommend it, especially to parents who think they are doing their children a favor by keeping them from church and allowing them to make the choice when they grow up. Remember that there are many others in this world who care what they believe even if you don’t. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.
